The team is pleased to annouce the second live event of 2014: Social Mobility – Realising Ambitions
The Time, The Place
Our next live Leicester Exchanges event is on Thursday 13 March 2014, 6:00pm – 8.15pm, Teach First, 4 More London Place, London SE1 2AU.
Join the University of Leicester and leading graduate employer representatives from Barclays, Teach First and Norton Rose Fulbright as we debate how both higher education and graduate employers can help push social mobility further, giving everyone the opportunity to realise their ambitions.
Our expert panel will answer questions and debate key topics such as:
- What employers can do to address social mobility.
- Whether changing the ways employers recruit and select means compromising quality.
- Whether Higher Education institutions really are doing enough to support the development and transitions that less advantaged students need to make.
This is your opportunity to share your views and understand the steps that employers are taking to tackle this challenging agenda.
This event will be exactly one week before Sir Bob Burgess, Vice Chancellor of the University of Leicester, announces the winner of the Advancement of Social Mobility in Graduate Recruitment Award at this year’s TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards.
